The Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art is a museum that was born as a continuation of the Carrara Art Gallery, thanks to precious donations. The Permanent Collection is divided into several main groups including the Spajani Collection, with works of Balla, Boccioni, De Chirico, Kandinskij, Morandi; the Manzù Collection was donated to the town of Bergamo by the sculptor himself and the Stucchi Collection with the Informal masters....

GAETANO DONIZETTI was a great musician and composer from Bergamo. The itinerary runs through the native places of the composer: from the birthplace in Borgo Canale, to the Donizetti Museum, to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore where the musician is buried.
